A: Lightly dust the surface and then use a microfiber cleaning cloth and window cleaner to clean the acrylic surface.
Q: How easy is it to hang a Monolith?
A: Monoliths ship with a professional French Cleat mounting system included. One person can hang it safely with basic tools in under 15 minutes, but it's easier with two people. It sits perfectly flush against the wall.
Q: Does it actually light up?
A: Yes, all Monoliths feature built-in Nanoleaf Shapes technology behind the 3D resin core.
Q: What Smart Home Hubs are Monoliths compatible with?
A: We use Nanoleaf Shapes for the lighting and Nanoleaf is compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Homey, Matter and Thread. Simply download the Nanoleaf mobile app to get started.
Q: What’s your return or warranty policy?
A: Because we sell limited-edition handmade pieces, all sales are final (no returns). However, every monolith comes with a 2-year warranty on the electronics (Nanoleaf components) and a guarantee that the resin and frame are defect-free. If anything arrives damaged in shipping, we’ll replace it immediately.
Q: How do I power the Monolith?
A: It plugs straight into a normal wall outlet. If you have a wall outlet right behind where the Monolith is being installed, you're golden, all wires are easily concealed. If there isn't a wall outlet right behind the installation location, it may require a little bit of electrical work to ensure it has a very clean and wire-free look/feel.
